The Panel

Type .settings to open your personal settings.
Pick a category tab, or type at least 2 letters in the search box to find a setting by name.
Each row has ON / OFF buttons; the change applies at once and is saved with your character.
Long lists are paged (8 rows per page).
The Utilities tab holds shortcuts such as drop list, server time, unstuck, dice, target stats and Auto Potions.
Auto Sell has its own switch in the Gameplay tab (it is a setting of each character) and a shortcut to its item list in the Utilities tab.

These are per-character preferences and are remembered after you log out.
Toggles that also live in another panel (Block Party, the mail notifications, DressMe skin visibility) stay in sync with it.

Gameplay covers XP gain, loot pick up and AFK mode, auto-emote and the mail notifications and the logout report.
Visual Effects hides costly effects to save FPS.

Open the Party tab (or type .party).
Set the aura for yourself, party members, clan members and alliance members to None, Blue or Red.
Block Party is repeated on this tab so you can stop party invites from the same place.

Auras only change what YOU see. Other players' screens are not affected.
A real team colour - a duel or a manhunt target, for example - takes priority over your choice.

Open the Block Incoming tab and switch on what you do not want to receive: private messages, party invites, trade requests, clan invites, duel requests, friend requests, buffs and resurrection offers.
Open Chat Filters to mute the Shout and Trade channels.
Gameplay has Auto-Emote on Chat: your character plays a matching animation when you chat.

A blocked request is refused automatically.
Block Buffs refuses buffs from other players, so turn it off before asking a buffer for help.
Auto-emote plays at most once every 8 second(s), and never while you are sitting, casting, fishing, in a private store or trading.

Quick commands exist too: .blockpm, .blockparty, .blocktrade, .blockclan, .blockduel, .blockfriend, .blockbuff, .blockres.
Mute Shout and Mute Trade are .muteshout and .mutetrade.
