Buying
How it works
- Open a category from the main grid or the sidebar tree, or use the search box.
- Opening a category also pops the in-game shop window: hover an item for its stats and set the quantity there.
- You can also buy straight from the item list, or press Shop Window to reopen the window.
What you keep and lose
- You pay the current price plus castle VAT (shown on the confirm page).
- Buying several at once can cost more per copy once the cheapest stock or your own materials run out.
Tips
- Armor shelves have a Sets tab: buy the whole set, or just the pieces you are missing. When the unsealed set is not on the market, a set opens its sealed version (cheaper, unseal later at Craft Master) and lists any player-listed unsealed pieces separately.
- An armor item's page lists the sets it belongs to, with a View Set button.
- Click Farm on any item to see where to hunt it, or where to farm its recipe and materials.
Selling
How it works
- Press Sell in the sidebar and choose where to sell.
- Sell to AH: list items for other players, or Quick Sell materials and recipes in one go.
- Sell to Shop: an instant sale to the shop at half price, from the shop's sell window or Quick Sell.
What you keep and lose
- Shop sales are instant and untaxed; AH sales pay out to your mail minus the house cut.
Tips
- Selling to the AH lets you set your own price; the shop always pays half.
Favs & Bank
How it works
- Tick an item's check box to add it to Favs; you can keep up to 20.
- Recent lists the last 5 items you opened.
- Bank opens your bank from the sidebar.
What you keep and lose
- Merchant, Auction House and Craft Master each keep their own Favs and Recent lists.
Tips
- Use the [-] Shortcuts toggle in the sidebar to hide these buttons and free up space.
Prices
How it works
- For every item the Merchant checks three sources and charges whichever is currently lowest.
- Shop: the standard shop price.
- Market: the cheapest current Auction House listing.
- Crafted: the cost to craft it from Auction House materials, minus materials you already hold.
What you keep and lose
- If crafting wins, the materials you own are used up; the confirm page lists exactly what will be consumed.
- Market and crafted buys pay castle VAT to each seller's chosen castle; shop and fixed-price buys pay a random castle, shown on the confirm page.
- Some items have a fixed shop price; you always pay exactly that plus tax.
- Shots and arrows are crafted in whole batches: the Merchant crafts the full batches that fit and buys the rest from the shop or the market, so you get exactly the amount you asked for. Only when nothing else sells the rest do you get a full batch, and the confirm page shows the real amount first.
- The shop window shows a snapshot: if a price moved more than 10% since it opened, it reopens with current prices instead of charging the old one.
Tips
- A category's Price List page shows which route each item comes from right now.
- Every purchase sends a receipt to your mail.
