This page says what L2Vez stores about you, why, and what you can ask for.

Who is responsible

Account: your account name, your e-mail address (if you give one), and your password as a one-way hash. We cannot read your password.
Security: the addresses (IP) your account signs in from and when, failed sign-in attempts, your account PIN as a one-way hash, and whether two-step sign-in is on.
Game data: your characters and everything they own and do in the game, including trades, mail, auction and chat lines.
Donations: the order, the amount, the character that received the coins and PayPal's payment reference. Card or bank details never reach us; PayPal handles the payment.
Website visits: anonymous counters only (how many times a page or button was used, the language, and the site a visitor came from). No visitor is identified and nothing is linked to an account.

To run the game and the website and let you sign in.
To keep accounts safe: stopping stolen accounts, limiting rewards per connection, detecting bots and real-money trade.
To moderate: chat lines and trade records are used as evidence for player reports. Chat may be checked by automated moderation, which can include a moderation service run by another company; only the chat text is sent, never your account details.
To deliver donation rewards and answer payment questions.

The website sets only cookies it needs: one that keeps you signed in, one for your language, one for the server and character you used last. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.

PayPal, when you donate. Our e-mail provider, for the messages we send you (password reset, confirmation, receipts). Our hosting and network providers, which carry the traffic.
We do not sell personal data and do not give it to advertisers.

Account and game data are kept while the account exists. Trade records and website history logs are deleted on a schedule (weeks to months, depending on the record). Donation records are kept as long as accounting rules require.

You can ask what we store about your account, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete the account. Write to the staff on our Discord server from the account's e-mail address, or open a ticket with staff on Discord.
Deleting an account removes its characters for good. Records we must keep (donations, bans for fraud) are kept without the rest.
The game is not meant for children under 16.
